Branding For A Cause Project

This project was for my Visual Communication and Advocacy class and was focused on a cause of our choosing. Our task was to create a logo and brand identity for our cause that advocated for its importance. My chosen cause was clean skincare and beauty products, and I named my brand "Bleam". This project included many steps, beginning with initial logo sketches, advancing to mocking up our logos and cause onto products, social media, and billboards.

Step 1:

Initial Mind Map & Sketches of my Branding and Logo Ideas for my made up cause, 'Bleam': a clean skincare and beauty brand. I wanted to incorporate a bubble and focused on simplicity.

Getting there…

Work in progress logos. I knew I liked the bubbles and I liked the font in the bottom left logo, but I felt as though the word 'bleam' was getting lost, so I tried to re-work the arrangement of everything.

Voila!

Final 3 logos; I decided to use the 'b' in the bubble design. I also wanted to emphasize the letters 'b' and 'e' and have them stand out as 'be' since the brand tagline was 'be your best you'.
